Partytime & Pyro Ltd Hire Guidelines & Terms & Conditions Your attention is drawn to our Hire Conditions. Placement of your order is acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. HIRE RATES and GENERAL CHARGES 1. The Hire rates include for a 24hour period commencing from your collection or delivery time. Items not returned by the agreed time on the return date will be charged at the hire rate plus an extra 1/5th of the hire rate for each day or part day overdue. 2. A Deposit equal to 50% of the Hire Charge or £10 whichever is the higher or an amount at the discretion of the Company is due together with the Hire Charge at the commencement of the Hire, Unless Credit Account already opened. 3. The goods remain the responsibility of the hirer until returned or collected. 4. Customers are reminded that deposits will not be refunded until Hire Returns have been checked. 5. Prices subject to alterations without notice. 6. Minimum Hire Charge is £5.00 collected - delivered orders minimums by area. 7. All Shortages, Damaged, or Broken items, or incorrect items Returned will be charged for based on the current replacement cost. 8. NO exception will be made to Clause 7 unless such shortages, Damaged or Broken items are reported to this office within 12 hours of the collection of delivery time of any goods. 9. Orders are accepted subject to these conditions and the availability of the equipment at the commencement of the Hire. 10. Prices are exclusive of VAT. 11. Framework Hire is charged at a scale from £50, depending on the Framework hired. Under normal circumstances all framework will need to be returned to our Office in Broadclyst, after the agreed hire period, unless otherwise agreed. DELIVERY or COLLECTION 1. Delivery or Collection is not included in the Hire Charge. If Delivery or Collection is required, a charge will be made depending on distance. Charges will be based on our driver having unencumbered access to a convenient ground floor location and the Customer must ensure that a responsible person is in attendance to Receive or Hand Over the Hire Goods as applicable. In the case of Collection, all goods should be checked, re-boxed as appropriate and ready for immediate loading. Any delays, Additional Labour or Transport or other expenses resulting from the failure by the Customer to fulfil any of conditions referred to in this clause will incur extra charges. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The acceptance of our quote shall be deemed to include the acceptance of the following terms and conditions. 1 to 11 2. Unless the quote is withdrawn, the quote price is valid for 30 days only. All the equipment is available at the time of quote, and is only booked on receipt of the signed confirmation of booking, and the receipt of a deposit 25% of the contract price and then the balance is due 14 days prior to the event. 3. All equipment is offered subject to availability. The hirer reserves the right to substitute alternative but equivalent items where necessary 4. You can cancel a contract at any time in writing, We have a sliding scale of cancellation charges. Cancellation by you within: i) 90 days of the contract date 25% of the total contract is liable for payment ii) 60 days of the contract date 50% of the total contract is liable for payment iii) 30 days of the contract date 100% of the contract total is liable for payment Very rarely it may be necessary for us to cancel your contract due to Health & safety reasons or unreasonable venue or client restrictions and/or demands. This is very much a last resort and if it has to be implemented we will give you a minimum of 30 days notice and we will refund all money paid to us. We may need to keep a fee for admin and a site fee if we have conducted one. 5. The hirer shall indemnify Partytime & Pyro Ltd. against all damage to or loss of the equipment, once the equipment has been delivered to the hirer or once the equipment has been collected by the hirer. We recommend you insure the goods. 6. The acceptance of our quote must be accompanied by sufficient information to enable us to proceed with the order, failing which we are at liberty to amend the quote price to cover any increase in cost resulting from such failure on behalf of the hirer. 7. In the event of suspension of work on the hirer's instructions, or failure to supply adequate instructions at any stage, the contract price shall be increased to cover any additional expense incurred by us in consequence thereof. 8. Should any equipment hired from Partytime & Pyro Ltd. develop a fault or not function as required, it is necessary to contact our office so arrangements can be made for a replacement or service. 9. The quoted price assumes that there is adequate access to the site of delivery or installation. Any extra costs that are incurred in accessing the site shall be chargeable as per terms and conditions above. 10. It is the responsibility of the hirer to insure that adequate insurance is supplied for any kit that is hired and installed on site. All kit hired shall be in good serviceable condition. Any losses or damages sustained to equipment on site shall be charged at replacement/repair cost. CREDIT ACCOUNTS 1. Regular Customers wishing to apply for a Credit Account must complete a Credit Account Application Form. |
