It is now law that fireworks cannot be fired after 11pm therefore we must fire in time to finish by 11pm. A popular solution for a firing time is to have the display just before your evening buffet, this allows the venue to set out the food when all guests are outside watching the fireworks so you can come back in to eat. If you are unsure of what time you would like your Display to be fired and also if it is dark enough, please give the office a call and we will check on the sunset times for you.
We will not start a fireworks display after 10.45pm to allow time to finish in good time before the firework curfew starts. The law states that fireworks cannot been fired between the hours of 11pm and 7am daily. This is know as the firework curfew and is
enforced by the Police. There are some exceptions to this; Bonfire Night (November 5th) the curfew doesn't start until Midnight; New Years Eve (December 31st), Dwalli and Chinese New Year the curfew doesn't start until 1am; plus there may be other exceptions made from time to time by the Government for special Religious or Cultural events. |
