Advice
Advice on how to get the best from your fireworks display

Display Duration
Our advice is to have a shorter more impressive display than a longer display. Your guests are more likely to remember how impressive a display is than how long it is. Most private displays are around 5 -7 minutes long.

Budget
The more you spend per minute the more spectacular the display. If for example you have a budget of £1000 we would recommend a 5 minute Five-Star Display rather than a 7 minute Aerial Display because it will be more impressive.
You can always increase your budget closer to your event if you find you have money left in your overall budget. We need to know your final budget for the fireworks at least 2 weeks before firing. Many venues offer discounts on week day nights, lots of our customers spend the saving on fireworks.

Upgrades and Options
Our Romantic Upgrade is very popular for weddings and makes any display extra special. We can put a Birthday age in Lancework or even a message. A Finale Upgrade is also very popular adding that extra bit of  WOW! factor to the end of a display. Many displays are made even more impressive with our Musical Upgrade.

Firing Time
It is now law that fireworks cannot be fired after 11pm therefore we must fire in time to finish by 11pm. A popular solution for a firing time is to have the display just before your evening buffet, this allows the venue to set out the food when all guests are outside watching the fireworks so you can come back in to eat. If you are unsure of what time you would like your Display to be fired and also if it is dark enough, please give the office a call and we will check on the sunset times  for you.

Surprise Displays
Please be aware that not all venues are suitable for surprise displays, sometimes we need to set up in full view of your guests. If you do want the display to be a surprise you MUST let us know what your planning so we can play along. We are happy to work incognito but we need to know in advance of the night.

Making a Booking
All that is left for you to do is check once again with your venue that they are happy for you to have Fireworks and also if they have any restrictions ie: if they are Whisper Preference Venue. Decide on a budget and the Display option you would like to go for, the DVD has some example displays for you to watch.

You then need to complete the enclosed booking form and return to us with a 25% Booking fee. We will then confirm your booking and arrange to carry out a site visit if we have not worked at your venue before. We will contact your venue in writing to confirm that you have booked a display with us and all you need to do is sit back and relax. We will send you out a reminder letter for your balance which is due no later than 14 days prior to your event, and also confirm that all of the display details are still correct. About a week before the display you will receive a letter with the details of your crew, and all that is left for you to do is ENJOY, the Fireworks.
