Concept and Planning.

To help you develop a theme concept for your event that will work for your Venue. To make initials plans on how to develop this concept into a practical solution. Getting these early planning stages is particularly important if you are using the theme of your event to help market it and encourage people to buy tickets. Our Creative Designer can meet with you on a one to one basis or he can attend a planning meeting.

On-Site Advice.

During the set up of your event our Creative Designer can be on hand to advise you on best practice and health and safety issues. Although you and your team will do the actual installation and be entirely responsible for it you can benefit from years of practical experience and many tips and ticks of the trade to get the best look for your event decoration.

Simple Hourly Rate.

We charge out our Creative Designer time at £40 per hour for both types of consultancy. How this is split is entirely up to you, we can of course advise you. There is a minimum fee of £200 (5 hours).

Professional Services and DIY Supply.

If you decide to book our professional decoration services then much of this consultancy is included in the price and we do the work as well! We would also be happy to quote to supply your DIY decoration needs.

An Example of how this process can work.

The Students Guild of Exeter University put on an annual fundraising event. Because budgets were tight they decided not to use our professional decoration services but opted for on-site consultancy. They had lots of student man-power to install all the decorations and our Creative Designer was on hand to show them how the best way of achieving the desired effect. We also supplied the majority of DIY decorations and hired the Helium Gas for the Balloons. The event was a great success and the students had a great time setting up all the decorations.
